Editorial Shoot

This was a personal project - an excuse to explore a creative language I hadn't had the chance to work in before. Fashion and editorial had always been adjacent to my world, and I wanted to understand what I could bring to it: how my instincts around restraint, composition and visual direction would translate onto a model rather than a product.

Shot during the pandemic in collaboration with photographer Amber Grace Dixon, the concept was built around a single idea: reduction. Tailored, neutral, minimal - 

with the focus placed entirely on movement, body language and shape. Nothing decorative, nothing distracting. Just the stillness and tension of a well-considered frame.

I developed the mood and visual direction, creating the brief that shaped every creative decision on the day. Amber brought the team — stylist, hair, makeup, set - and together we produced something that felt genuinely editorial. A quiet shoot with a clear point of view.
