Space NK's highly anticipated seasonal magazine focusing on all things beauty, fragrance and wellness. For this issue, I was leading the creative direction for the cover, as well as commissioning photography and illustrations. I was also responsible for the editorial design and laying out the full magazine.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
For the 2020 High Summer issue of Inside Space, in the midst of a global pandemic, Space NK honed in on the storytelling around the 'Staycation' mindset. I was tasked with setting the creative direction and commissioning the photography and illustrations for this issue. Seeing as it was the high summer issue for a magazine filled to the brim with beauty content, the idea behind the cover illustration was a colourful ice cream made up of various beauty textures blending and melting together in the heat.

STILL LIFE ART DIRECTION
In every issue there's a feature for the chicest and 'Most Wanted' beauty products. My inspiration for the Art Direction of the photographs was the beautiful gradient colours of a summer sunset. We played with angles and light through transparent acrylic, and the end result was a beautiful set of hero images.
